Laminated Timber
|
|
For
the traditional or natural look you can’t beat the feel and
warmth that timber brings to any room. All our hardwood
systems are expertly crafted by our fully trained staff, and
are laminated to give extra strength and to prevent warping.
Lamination involves splicing the timber into three pieces,
and then gluing them back together under high pressure with
the timber grains against each other, which prevents the
frames from twisting out of shape. |
 |
|

|
The
timber frames are dipped into an anti-rot, and anti-fungal
treatment to protect the frames from both the harsh rays of
the sun and water ingress. They are then finished to your
specification using either a natural stain or a RAL colour
of your choice. If however you prefer to finish the doors on
site we can provide the doors unfinished.

The
70mm aluminium folding sliding door is our most popular
system. It offers a modern look coupled with strength and
durability, it doesn’t require any maintenance to keep its
looks and is thermally broken to keep the cold out. The
system comes in a standard colour of white (RAL 9016), but
can be coloured to suit your tastes for a little extra.
• Thermally
broken for greater thermal efficiency
• Heavy duty cleats for stronger and bigger panels
• No condensation
• Resistant to scratching and denting
• Modern looking profiles |
 |
|
 |
Ideal
Applications: Due to the hardwearing material and finish
this door has endless applications, ideal for larger
openings and commercial properties. |
|
 |
We
use over size cleats to hold our aluminium panels together
to ensure longevity of the joint. The cleat shown on the
left of the coin is a competitor’s cleat that was removed
from a door panel on a system we replaced. As you can see it
is bent out of square. |
